Martin Luther was once asked by a friend what he had planned for the day. His reply was, “A lot of work from early to late, so much that I need to spend the first three hours in prayer." Prayer should be the foundation of any ministry. It’s the driving factor behind our own ministry. We pray for you all. We pray before we meet with people and after we meet with people. We pray over our French lessons. We pray for our team in Marseille. We’ve been teaching our daughter to pray before she could put two words together. We pray over everything. As believers we can try and build great things and make great plans, but without prayer it will not last. Prayer reminds us to be dependent upon the Father, and our family has been doing just that with so much transition in our lives.
