Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens,”. We have times and seasons where we laugh, cry, toil, rest, dance, speak, love, and everything in between. The seasons that God gives us can be busy, stressful, fun, or restful. Here at the house, we can go from busy to slow within a month’s timespan. September crept along while October was filled with hustle and bustle. We must remember to embrace the season we are in and use it wisely. When God gives you a season of rest, don’t use it to try and work more. When there’s grief in the household use that time to mourn with others knowing that God will sprinkle you with moments of joy when it is time again. We must not force certain seasons but look towards God’s will knowing that he orders our steps to strengthen and encourage us through the thick and thin.
